12 1/2 Weeks!

So yesterday, W and I went to get an ultrasound to check for signs of genetic problems. Good news! Everything turned out negative and we were able to keep a bunch of pictures from the ultrasound. My goodness! How things have gotten bigger than a tic-tac from our last visit!

Here is a picture of the little b's head! (My what big lips you got baby!) Hahahahahaha! It looks like it may have definitely inherited W's "fish lips"!  I'm sure that they might not be the lips, but I love teasing W about them!

And finally, here is little b trying to get comfortable after all the poking and movement from the ultrasound!

I wouldn't say that little b is a diva, but I do know that after about 2 minutes little b was fed up with being pushed around. After one particular hard jab, little b raised its hand as if to give the ultrasound technician a piece of its mind! (If you catch my drift.) What a little stinker! It made me laugh.

Our Little Tic-Tac!

So I know it has been awhile since our last post, so I will try to catch up in the next two...

So here is the fist photo of our little person!

This was taken at 7 1/2 weeks. When we first went in, the doctor didn't think I was pregnant and because she couldn't hear a heartbeat or even find the baby! They had to call in for a second opinion, and the new doctor was able to locate the little one! So they asked me to come back and Shabam! Our little tic-tac baby. We were told the white line in the center was the heartbeat although we weren't able to hear it yet. 

However, my dad took the ultrasound and and blew it up to 5 times its size. Our little tic-tack then became our little gummy bear because we were able to see the small bumps to where the hands and feet were growing!  Crazy!
